Abstract: This chapter tries to provide an overview of the latest trends and patterns of slow fashion consumption in the affluent market. Slow fashion consumption in affluent markets reflects a growing shift towards ethical, sustainable, and intentional purchasing habits, driven by increased awareness of environmental and social issues. It involves prioritizing quality over quantity, supporting ethical production practices, and embracing a mindful approach to wardrobe duration. Affluent consumers are motivated by the desire to align their purchasing behaviors with personal values of sustainability, ethical responsibility, and conscious living. While affluent consumers are well- positioned to adopt slow fashion due to higher disposable incomes, the movement also faces challenges. The high cost of sustainable fashion can limit accessibility, even within wealthy markets.
